Eisenberg Vintage Jewelry
Eisenberg Vintage Jewelry is one of the most popular, most valuable and most collected vintage jewelry.
Like man other vintage jewelry lines, Eisenberg started making jewelry to complement the clothing they designed and made. Jonas Eisenberg began his clothing line in 1914, by 1927 he began to manufacture as well as design his own line under the "Eisenberg Originals" name. The early jewelry was not signed. Because the jewelry line was so successful, by 1958 Eisenberg became a jewelry only company that is still in operation today. Because our lifestyles have changed so much and few of us have the need for elaborate costume jewelry, Eisenberg now makes primarily Christmas jewelry under the name Eisenberg Ice.
Eisenberg Costume Jewelry is known for its bold, beautiful and very quality jewelry. Most pieces have elaborate stones and rhinestones. Many items use pave rhinestones as part of the design. Swarovski rhinestones were used and they are known to retain their original beauty throughout the years.
Through the early 1930s the pieces were not signed. From the mid-1930s to the mid-1940s pieces were signed "Eisenberg Originals". These pieces came in a blue velvet box marked "Eisenberg& Sons Originals". Some jewelry during this time period was also marked with just the name. During the early 1940s some pieces were also marked with the single letter "E" either in cursive or block script. From the mid-1940s to the late 1950s pieces were marked "Eisenberg" or "Eisenberg Ice" or (less often) "Eisenberg Original". From the late 1950s to the mid 1980s most pieces are unmarked - they had a paper tag when they were purchased that contained the name.

Eisenberg Jewelry made since 1985 is signed "Eisenberg Ice" in cursive letters with the copyright sign on an oval plaque.
In 1994 and again in 2000, Eisenberg issued reproductions of Vintage Eisenberg Jewelry. These pieces are marked "Eisenberg Ice" in cursive with the date of either 1994 or 2000.
