Vintage Avon Jewelry may not be as old as you think. Although the company has been selling perfume since 1886, they did not start making jewelry until 1971. Before then, the only jewelry pieces were special items used as awards for representatives.

Over the years, Avon has partnered with some of the top names in jewelry to produce their line. Some of the most notable names are Kenneth Jay Lane, Barrera, Elizabeth Taylor, Trifari, Celia Sebiri and Louis Feraud. Avon even owned Tiffany & Co from 1980 to 1984.

Avon Vintage Jewelry is marked with the name AVON in all capital letters. Jewelry made in collaboration with other designers will usually have their name as well. such as "Elizabeth Taylor for Avon".

Avon Vintage Jewelry is not known for a signature look, as their pieces offer a lot of variety in styles, designs and quality. Avon continues to manufacture jewelry today and is one of the largest costume jewelry sellers in the world.
